At CarboHyde, education and knowledge-sharing around cyclodextrins is one of our core pillars.
Whether it’s through webinars, conference presentations, or collaborative research, we believe in making science accessible and engaging.
But what we enjoy most is when we get to share our expertise in person — like welcoming summer interns to our team! Richárd Tóth from Zsombor Kristof Nagy‘s group at FirePharma Research Group BME is one of the best materials we have had so far.
These hands-on experiences not only support the next generation of scientists but also bring fresh energy and new perspectives into our lab.
Richard’s own words:
“What its like to work at CarboHyde?
I have been an intern for three weeks since late June.
In my first week, I was nervous about the unknown, but I received a warm welcome from the members of the Carbohydrate. I feel appreciated and accepted in this environment.
They involve me in a bunch of both formulations and the marketing process. I enjoy several kinds of tasks, problem-solving, and searching through the literature for some important data as well.
My favourite part of the job so far, when I had to gather up a huge amount of data about cyclodextrin-based metal-organic frameworks (CD-MOF). It was needed by a potential business partner. I learnt a lot about CD-MOFs.
All in all, I adore working here because of the friendly and supportive atmosphere. Thank you so much.”
